Sweet desserts needed for annual art show

West Island Association for the Intellecutally Handicapped

It’s just desserts.
The West Island Association for the Intelectually Handicapped is holding its 50th annual annual outdoor art exhibition and sale, in partnership with the Lakeshore Associations of Artists, on Sept. 6 and 7 – and is in need of some tasty donations.
“In past years, the kitchen has run out of baked goods for the Tea Room very quickly,” said Franca Kesic, co-ordinator of WIAH’s community volunteer relations. ”We are therefore asking if anyone would be so kind as to bake some squares, loafs for WIAH.”
The art exhibition and sale will take place Sept. 6 and 7 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the grounds of Stewart Hall, 176 Lakeshore Road in Pointe Claire.
For more information, call Kesic at 514-694-7090, ext. 14.
