Man hit by bus mirror

A man in his 70s is in stable but critical condition after he was struck by the mirror of an Montreal Transit Commission bus in St. Laurent on Monday.
The accident occurred at 2:45 p.m. on Côte Vertu Blvd. near Lebeau Blvd. Côte Vertu is under construction in that area and two lanes of traffic are separated by concrete lane dividers. The man, who was crossing the street, climbed over the divider and apparently did not see the bus coming. He was hit by the driver’s side mirror.
