Woamn arrested for theft

Station #5

A 19-year-old Dorval woman was arrested after camping equipment stolen from her neighbour’s locker was found in her car.
The victim went to her locker in her apartment building on Dorval Ave. at about 9 a.m. last Thursday to get camping equipment. She discovered that the locker had been forced open and the equipment had been stolen.
She called police and began discussing the theft with a neighbour while waiting for the police to arrive. The other tenant remembered seeing some camping equipment in a car parked outside the building.
Police investigated and determined the equipment in the vehicle belonged to the victim.
The victim had her equipment returned to her.
